Naturescaping for Backyard Habitats Tour

Saturday, June 2nd • 11am - 4pm

Grab a friend and enjoy behind the scenes access to a variety of naturescaped gardens that are bursting with creativity on this FREE self-guided tour! You can chat with the do-it-yourself gardeners who have created low-maintenance landscapes that attract wildlife, conserve water, and have no need for synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Check it out and dig up fresh ideas that will help you create your own exceptional backyard habitat!

Yard Tour FAQs:

I'd like to attend. Do I need to register?
YES! Advanced registration is required in order to access the Yard Tour Guide when it becomes available. Registration is now open. Click here to register.

How many gardens will be on the tour?
The number of gardens changes from year to year, but you can expect approximately between 6-10 gardens.

Where are the gardens?
Hold tight. We are preparing a handy Yard Tour Guide that provides garden descriptions, addresses, maps and tips to finding each tour location.

How do I get the Tour Guide?
First, you register! Your confirmation email will contain a link to where you can download the Yard Tour Guide. It will be available for download beginning Wednesday, May 23rd. (Sorry, we do not mail out the Yard Tour Guide).

No. This is a self-guided tour, and there is no set schedule, so you can visit the gardens in any order you wish between the hours of 11am - 4pm on tour day.

Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Guests are always welcome. They can either pre-register online, or you can just bring them along! They can sign in when they get there.

Are you looking for volunteers?
Indeed, we are! Volunteering at the Yard Tour is a fun way to connect with other like-minded gardening enthusiasts. We need help with day of tour preparations, greeting visitors, and post-tour clean up. To learn more about volunteering, call Nikkie West at 503-292-6855.
