care for their land.

Workshops

EMSWCD offers free workshops to homeowners, businesses, landowners and community groups that are held throughout the tri-county Portland metropolitan region. Our free workshops promote the use of native plants, water conservation, invasive weed identification, and creative stormwater solutions to improve water quality in local streams and rivers and to create healthy habitat for people and wildlife alike.

Our annual events engage the community and work towards our mission to improve water quality, keep soil healthy and conserve water. Our annual Native Plant Sale provides thousands of low cost plants for naturescaping, rain garden and restoration projects. We showcase a wide range of indoor & outdoor water conservation tips, stormwater solutions and an array of networking and sustainability tools at Water! in the fall.
