We help people
care for their land.

This program helps me and other students learn about the environment and teaches us to be future leaders to help us and others.

Invasive species cause serious problems by disrupting ecosystems, pushing out native species, and decreasing the value of your land. Fortunately, many invasive species are not yet abundant in Oregon. Attend this free training to learn how to spot these invaders before they get a foothold!

The Multnomah Weed Watchers supports and trains volunteers to look for and report new invaders before they become a problem. Volunteers become part of an Oregon Early Detection Network.

Looking out for invasive species is easy and fun! You just need to:

  1. Learn to identify the species
  2. Look for the species
  3. Report the species!

Our partner West Multnomah SWCD is handling registration this year. Please select a day below to register for this workshop on their website. The workshops will be held at Metro, 600 NE Grand Avenue in Portland, and they will run from 12pm to 2pm.
