Put the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District to work for you! If you live east of the Willamette River in Multnomah County, you may be eligible for a free site visit. We are non-regulatory - we are only interested in helping you. All of our services are provided free of charge.

We offer technical assistance with managing:

  • Mud & manure
  • Soil erosion
  • Areas near streams, creeks, and rivers
  • Pastures
  • Note:We are not able to offer site visits in urban areas unless your property is along a creek, stream, river, pond, or wetland.

  • Livestock watering
  • Fertilization of crops and pastures
  • Riparian fencing
  • Riparian buffers
  • Invasive weeds
  • Well protection
  • Irrigation water
