We help people
care for their land.

This program helps me and other students learn about the environment and teaches us to be future leaders to help us and others.

This year Naturescaping is pleased to be partnering with the Backyard Habitat Certification Program on this year's yard tour.

The yard tour is a wonderful opportunity for you to talk first-hand with gardeners who have created landscapes that attract wildlife, are low maintenance and low water use and have helped them eliminate their use of synthetic fertilizer and pesticides. Aside from doing it yourself, the next best way to learn about naturescaping for habitat is to see it and meet with the folks that are already doing it.

Find out what their favorite native plants are; how they manage their stormwater; how they manage their pests (both plant and insect) without turning to chemicals; how they combine food gardens with naturescaping; how their pets (dogs, cats, chickens etc) fit into their naturescape; and much, much more.
